đ [Received!] A special community edition for you :)
All the top hits of the past Monday Mavens editions in one.
6 Mondays ago, we sent out the first Monday Mavens edition to about 35% of you. This week, we look back at the personal growth and productivity resources that our community has found to be intriguing.
From articles, Twitter threads, to TED Talks, it seems that our community loves to learn through various forms of media. Did you miss any of these popular hits?
Growing from the inside out
One thing that is key to personal growth is self-reflection. Monday Mavens has shared a few ways we can do to self-reflect, including by recognizing our blind spots and toxic behaviors.
This article on the most common blind spots and ways to contain them was a top hit during our first week.
This CNN Health article dissecting toxic positivity was also a crowd-pleaser in our 5th edition.
Learning through othersâ experiences
There is indeed a lot we can gain from looking inwards, but understanding the perspectives of others immensely widens our horizons.
We love featuring TED Talks in our editions, and this one by Venture Investor, Natalie Fratto, where she talks about adaptability was a favorite among our subscribers.
The decade-long experience of Justin Kan, Co-Founder of Twitch, also proved to be compelling as his twitter thread on things he learned from the mighty Silicon Valley filled our 2nd editionâs top spot.
Bite-sized insights to boost productivity
Starting the week off, most of us are probably gearing up for work, planning out our schedule for the next 7 days. Some like to indulge in engaging videos or longer articles, while some others might prefer to read short-form insights like Instagram posts and 4-minute read Medium articles. If youâre one of the latter, you probably already clicked on:
This Instagram Carousel on âThe Ostrich Effectâ from our 3rd edition, or;
This Medium post summarizing the morning habits of a high-performer from last week.
But if you didnât, well now is the time!
Look forward to more of our editions, we will go back with our regular edition next week! If you found any of our insights helpful, do share Monday Mavens with your peers. And while youâre at it, leave a comment to let us know which learning forms from us you like best.
